Swan Love
My daughter is getting married to a very nice young gentleman. I believe in equal rights for men and women, but that doesn’t mean old fashioned respect and chivalry has to go down the tubes. Before he asked my daughter he came and asked my husband and me for her hand. (blessing really). We said yes of course because we know how much she loves him. He was a little concerned because he was looking for a unique wedding ring. A ring among rings. I had the perfect one. I had it passed down to me from my mother when she died, which was after I had been married so I already had my own. Its two rings in the shapes of swans whose neck intertwine when you put them together. In their crook each has three small diamonds studding their necks which also overlap to make a beautiful sparkle. My mother said my dad and her picked the rings because swans mate for life. He loved it and presented it to her after she said yes. It brought tears to her eyes!!
