The Harp: My Great-Aunt’s Instrument
My great-aunt has a harp and is a semi-professional harpist. She’s been playing the harp for decades and her harp playing was a large part of my childhood. I lived with my great-aunt one summer when I was 12 years old. She played the harp for me almost every evening when I was living with her and she even learned songs that I requested. She tried to get me to play the harp a few times, but I really preferred to listen to her play. The harp is still one of my favorite instruments and will always remind me of my time with my great-aunt.
