Original watercolor paintings take one into a special world
Unlike oil or acrylic paintings which can be bold and strong, most watercolors are a more subtle work. Watercolors are usually more delicate and gentle. This does not mean they can not have a powerful impact on the viewer. Quite the contrary, watercolors can pull the viewer into the painting without a person even realizing they are being so affected. Watercolors are a sensitive, subtle medium that takes great skill. Oil or acrylic paint allows the painter to cover or correct mistakes, but watercolor requires pre-planning and a deft hand. However, once mastered, watercolors can produce some of the most magnificent and desirable paintings.
